Playhouse Tepee Class​

The Playhouse Tepee class is a fun easy class that any level sewer will enjoy.  Perfect for play campers or a kid looking for a quiet spot.  The tepee has pieced panels, a prairie point border and long tubes sewn between panels that accommodate 1x2 boards to support the structure.

Template Making & Cutting
We will begin by learning the basics of pattern making and cutting following the step by step instructions.  We will then begin assemble of playhouse components. 

​Prairie Points and Blocks
​Prairie Points add a unique look to this Playhouse Tepee.  We will learn to fold the and sew 6" blocks into Prairie Points.  The top of the playhouse is made from 40 - 6" squares sewn together and cut into panels using templates.

​Required Materials and Supplies
​1)  One of the three available Playhouse Tepee kits.

2)  Small pair of scissors for snipping thread.*

3)  Straight pins for holding fabric in place.*
​    *If you do not have scissors or pins they are available for purchase before class.

Kits include all fabric, thread, 1x2 boards and rope to complete this Playhouse Tepee.  Portions of the kit are pre-cut to size and ready to sew together.
